Abstract

Digital journalism has countless tools that allow to improve communication, even more for an important sector, such as educational communities, websites are one of the virtues that journalism has for its development and approach in the digital era. To inform and be informed is a right of all human beings, even more of students who are the future of a country. The COVID-19 pandemic opened a door of digital access to educational institutions, the possibilities for improvement are endless and the creation of a website can help to optimize education and communication with the educational community. Linking teachers, students and parents to digital tools that they had never used to maintain a more feasible communication, when face-to-face was limited. The Pandemic made clear the importance for teachers to be updated and master all technological issues to adapt to ict and thus improve the quality of education in Panama.
