This article addresses as a central issue, the unethical attitudes that a higher level education professor should focus on not primarily committing in the classroom. It was based on texts with the opinion of other authors that show the perspective of society, students and even the teachers themselves towards the subject under discussion. "A teacher, in his/her good practice acquires an ethical character or personality. The teaching ethics must take into account the form of treatment that the teacher has to exercise with their students "Hernández (2010).
Why are the unethical behaviors at higher education a problem? Who are the most affected? Which are those university teachers’ behaviors that society considers an unethical practice? Which are the reasons why some professors at the university level show unethical attitudes and behaviors in a classroom? How does society in general consider a university teacher should conduct himself/herself inside and outside a classroom? What attitudes and behavior do students expect to see in a higher education teacher? How do teachers consider their colleagues should conduct themselves in front of their students in the classroom? These are some of the questions that led us to make a series of reflections on this work and thus encourage critical-reflective thinking about what we, those who have decided to follow the wonderful and significant world of teaching and learning, are doing or observing during the teaching practice.
