This research aimed to determine the psychological effects of climacteric and its impact on 61 female teachers working at Gatuncillo Secondary School in the province of Colón. A quantitative approach was used, employing surveys and standardized inventories (Beck Anxiety Inventory and Beck Depression Inventory) to assess the prevalence of anxious and depressive symptoms, as well as their influence on mood and overall performance. The results indicated that most participants experienced mild to moderate emotional and psychological symptoms. Factors such as social support, a structured work environment, and access to healthcare resources may have mitigated the severity of these symptoms. However, the importance of implementing workplace strategies to promote women's psychological well-being during this stage is emphasized. Future studies in populations with different sociodemographic characteristics are suggested to further understand the impact of climacteric on mental health.
