Abstract

Lined flat bark beetles (Laemophloeidae) is a group that contains 40 genera and about 450 species, looking their species richness in the tropics, being found under bark of dead trees. Larva of Laeomphloeus suturalis (Reitter 1876) (Coleoptera: Laemophloeidae) is described for first time; in the same way habitat and possible feeding behaviors are commented.
