Introduction Chronic kidney disease (CKD) represents a major public health problem worldwide, characterized by progressive decline in kidney function and multiple systemic complications that affect patients' quality of life. Among these complications, oral health problems have become increasingly relevant. People with CKD have a higher prevalence and severity of oral manifestations, especially those undergoing renal replacement therapy, which requires specialized dental care.
