This is a description of our experience treating Low Grade Glioma patients in Panama Children’s Hospital, including the treatment approach and survival with the use of resection, chemotherapy and radiation therapy. 35 cases were reviewed, from January 1, 1999 to December 31, 2008. In this group 15 patients received chemotherapy with vincristine and carboplatinum, reserving radiation therapy for recurrences or drug intolerance. For the overall group, the survival was 68.5% in ten years. This results could encourage similar programs which have persisted in spite of limited resources.
