Abstract

For this investigation, it was analyzed the relationship between the management of human capital through the development of soft skills for the improvement of staff performance and the achievement of organizational objectives, with an epistemological stance based on hermeneutical phenomenology, a methodological process which revolved around the analytical-synthetic method, and a qualitative, non-experimental descriptive-explanatory design. The sample is made up of the administrative staff of the organization under study, 81 participants. The techniques were direct observation, documentary, and triangulation.   To develop the results, the factors that influence the management of human capital for the creation of efficient organizations, the organizational impact of the development of soft skills in increasing the performance of human capital, and the influence of assertive communication and the ability to work as a team in increasing organizational productivity; this resulted in a human capital management model focused on the development of assertive communication and teamwork for the unit under study consisting of  four stages. The result concluded to strengthen the performance of any type of organization, recommending its study from the academy as part of the empowerment of the professional of the XXI century.
