This paper presents proofs of the irrationality of y , using elementary criteria of the maths. La irrationality of the numbers of the form , prime and , is established by verifying that these are roots of a nonzero polynomial whit integer coefficients; while the irrationality of and it is proved from the elementary tools of differential and integral calculus. When doing the didactic transposition of some tests that use elementary criteria of the maths, this paper proposed alternative proofs to the traditional or classical one.
