We are immersed in a constant wave of technological changes, which we know as digital culture, which is the use of technological devices that use digital format.
This culture generated a series of tensions between parents and children, with the need to seek parental control strategies, given the potential dangers that digital technologies brought with them.
Computer and social networks today are inseparable from computer security, with the number of cybercrimes that take place, it is important that adults, children and society in general be alerted about how to protect themselves from risks and threats on the network.
This article aims to make known the types of computer crimes that are practiced with our minors, that adults know what is parental control?, its functionality, the types of tools to monitor children, in order to counteract these kinds of threats.
In our country, little by little, a series of public security policies have been established for the protection of computer networks, for this reason the Panamanian regulations on computer security are mentioned.
