Abstract

Operational planning is a key factor in maximizing production efficiency in the dairy industry. This study analyzes how proper operations management can enhance yogurt production in a dairy company. Through a case study approach, strategies for planning, resource management, and process optimization that contribute to higher productivity are identified. The methodology is based on process observation, interviews with production managers, and a documentary review of efficient operational practices. The results show that implementing a structured plan, supported by technology and staff training, significantly improves efficiency in the production line. It is concluded that effective operational planning not only reduces costs and waste but also enhances the final product quality and the company's competitiveness in the market.
