Abstract

A New Registet of Bathybembix bairdii (Dall, 1889) on waters of El Salvador. We establish the systematic status of an specimen
belonging to the Gastropoda class ( Family, Trochidae) collected during the fishing campa¡gns of 1995 aboard the B/P Orense, in
the waters of the Economic Exclusive Zone (EEZ) of the Salvadoran Paciflc. Reviewed literature allows identification of the individual as Bathybembix ba¡rdii (Dall, 1889). This is the first record of thls mollucs in the Central American rsthmus.
