We present a checklist of Nymphalidae, Papilionidae and Pieridae buttlerflies collected in the Darien National Park and deposited in the Museo de Invertebrados G. B. Fairchild, University of Panama. We report for the Darien National Park 65 genera and 123 species and subspecies of Nymphalidae; 3 genera and 14 species and subespecies of Papilionidae; 9 genera and 15 species and subspecies of Pieridae. We present photographs of the most colorful and beautiful butterflies as an incentive for the development of ecotouristm in the Darien National Park.
