In this research, the presence of metals cadmium, lead and cupper were analized in the tissues of bivalve Anadara tuberculosa. The area of study was Chame Bay, specifically in the mangrove area of Taborcillo Island, located at 8º 33’ 00” and 8º 44’ 44” north latitude, 79º 42’ 00” and 79º 77’ 00” west longitude. The metal concentration was determined with the method of nitric acid digestion measuring the concentration with an atomic absorption spectrophotometer. The statistical analysis showed than Anadara tuberculosa has been accumulated Cd, Pb and Cu, seasonality and in different form in the tissues.
