The objective of this work is to analyze the solar incidence in two residential buildings: P.H Torres de España (Río Abajo) and P.H Pine Hills (Albrook), both located in Panama City. For the evaluation of sunlight, the Google Sketchup and Enscape software were used, which allowed the recreation of 3D models of both residential complexes and apartments mentioned. The validation of the simulation was carried out by comparing the results of the computational simulations with real photos of the spaces analyzed. It was concluded that the lack of functional eaves in both buildings allows a greater direct solar incidence and this can result in an increase in temperature in the internal spaces of the apartments.
