Noise pollution is an issue that has become relevant over the years because it’s increasing significantly along with overpopulation in cities around the world. This environmental factor, despite being invisible, is highly detrimental to people exposed to high levels of noise daily. This study seeks to analyze the noise levels that occur in three (3) sectors of the Paitilla area: (1) Parque Paitilla, (2) Plaza Bal Harbor, and (3) Parada Paitilla. Measurements are used with a sound level meter, which measures the levels of a sector, in this case, at a specific time of three (3) hours. The results show that of the 3 sectors evaluated, the sector with the highest noise pollution is S3_Parada Paitilla, where the levels ranged from 70 to 85 decibels, with an average of 77 decibels. S1_Parque Paitilla and S2_Plaza Bal Harbor presented lower noise levels, averaging 67 and 74 respectively.
