The Paitilla sector, being a high-density place in the center of the city, is prone to air pollution, negatively affecting its inhabitants. This study focuses on Italia Avenue and Vasco Núñez Avenue in Paitilla, as they are places of high pedestrian and vehicular traffic. The study seeks to perform an analysis of air quality in the Paitilla sector using different sectors: (S1) Paitilla Park, (S2) Bal Harbor Plaza and (S3) Paitilla Stop on Vasco Nuñez de Balboa Avenue, comparing the morphological characteristics in the three sectors. Measurements with an air quality sensor and a weather station were used and it was determined that higher levels of air pollution were quantified in S3 compared to S2 and S3.
