We live in a fast – paced world, where knowledge society demands, increasingly competent professionals in different areas of knowledge, as in the case of school guidance specialists prepared with high academic profile, to solve problems (academic, personal and vocation- professional) with an ethical, humanist benefit the quality of life of the stakeholders of education. From this perspective, this article presents an analysis of the perceived quality of guidance services that are offered in high schools: Fermín Naudeau and the American related to vocational guidance teachers, if it meets the needs and / or problems with these schools.
The study was descriptive, with qualitative and quantitative approach, supported by the SPSS software for data processing and compliance with the objectives of the research. The results indicate that guidance teachers have the skills to address the problems and challenges associated with students, teachers and principals of schools: Fermín Naudeau and America.
