Cultural tourism has emerged as a significant force in the tourism industry worldwide, and Panama is no exception. In recent years, there has been an increase in the popularity of emerging destinations that offer a wealth of cultural heritage and unique experiences for visitors. Therefore, this analysis focuses on the establishment of cultural tourism through these emerging destinations. It examines how these destinations are being promoted and developed to attract tourists interested in the country’s culture, history, and traditions. Additionally, it investigates the economic, social, and environmental impact of cultural tourism, as well as the challenges and opportunities they face in their sustainable development. The article also considers the role of government policies, private investment, and international collaboration in the promotion and management of cultural tourism in our country. It highlights the importance of preserving and promoting the authenticity and cultural integrity of these destinations, while ensuring responsible and sustainable tourism development. In summary, the article provides a comprehensive overview, highlighting its potential to drive economic growth, promote cultural heritage conservation, and foster intercultural understanding.
