21st century society is changing at an unprecedented rate. These changes affect young people who constitute a relevant group in the debates and indicated in the 2030 Agenda. The exclusion and social inequality of people in vulnerable conditions is visible in this group of adolescents and young people in the country. In consequence, the young population are the protagonists of social transformation and strategic actors in sustainable human development. But when access to services and resources are scarce, initiatives are required that allow in terms of opportunities for social inclusion in comprehensive programs that improve their living conditions. Its objective is to assess the benefits and impact of the community intervention programs of the Centro Alcance as a front line weapon to combat crime and violence in children, adolescents and young people in situations of social risk. The descriptive cross-sectional study methodology with a qualitative approach. It relies on document analysis technique, observation and interviews. The results obtained reveal that 57.14% of the program contribute to the integral development and formation of values, in addition it offers the opportunity for coexistence between adolescents and young people
