Abstract

The article aims to demonstrate, on the one hand, the evolution of microstory in the mid-twentieth century, the avant-garde period, the intrinsic changes that occur in the narrative of Central America and the new avant-garde narrative. Likewise, it proposes as hypothesis the demonstration of the pertinence of microstory genre as a textual form of interdisciplinary crossing of the GLORIA JORDÁN MAZZO 60 CÁTEDRA 15 social sciences in this first quarter of the 21st century; with the purpose of identifying the Central American literary historiography the use of elements of microstory in its cultural manifestations, namely: genres, epochs, literary figures, generations, styles and spaces of great importance as antecedents to reconstruct the Central American literary vision of the XXth. century and to be able to enter the XXIft. Century in order to establish the existence of this new narrative form in social life in time and space. Because literature makes us capable of recreating reality as a result experienced by social groups that coexist in it; leading us to explicit emotions, feelings and concepts, through the issuer-author-receiver so as to represents the ideas, the epoch and virtue; as a testimony in writing the account of society based on philosophical, historical, social and cultural characteristics. That is the evidence of man and woman, its various facets and its correspondence with literature that constitutes the necessary elements to value and acquire a literary culture.
