Translation is an interdisciplinary activity that due to its complexity requires the analysis of all the fields it intersects with. Its close relationship with the humanities makes it an important area of knowledge for an improved understanding of history, ideas and other cultures. This article proposes multiple interest points for the approach by established fields for the mutual benefit of enriching the humanities and vice versa.
