Abstract

At present, with the palpable reality of the great advances of science and the permanent development of communication and information technology, the human being is facing daily the urgent modifications and adaptations to his reality of life. These adaptation activities, in some moments are overcome, in others, the person succumbs to his uncertain destiny that the environment in which he lives can provide.

For the native peoples of our America, and in particular in Panama, the daily reality is not the same as the situation of permanent adaptation, according to the scarce resources that are available in the most distant areas of the regions Of all Central America. Living in a rural area presents major challenges in terms of health needs that may arise, belong to the social class of poverty (it can be extremely poor), it represents a challenge of life, of situations of problems, and with the previous characteristics Is indigenous, and also a woman, represents a greater difficulty in our peoples.
