The article meets the objective of identifying the use of gamification for the development of human capital, in an investigation designed from the qualitative paradigm from a non-experimental, documentary, descriptive and inductive approach, based on the variable’s gamification and human resources. The results were presented based on the development of human capital from the time they joined the company, where attention to the labor market and its needs is responded to, with gamification seen as a tool and as a technique, as well as its inherent risks. The study concludes that the traditional methods for recruitment, selection and development of productivity with gamification techniques, although it is not a new method, began a boom due to current trends for the development of human capital and have been fully accepted. by human resources departments that seek to promote the most efficient practices to attract, select and retain employees.
