This study examines how work flexibility contributes to the management of anxiety and depression within contemporary organizational settings, where shifting work dynamics and increasing technological demands are reshaping daily labor conditions. The review and analysis conducted reveal that flexible work arrangements enhance employees’ autonomy, support more effective time management, and help create a healthier balance between personal and professional responsibilities. These elements are associated with reduced emotional strain and a more stable sense of well-being. However, the findings also highlight factors that can limit these benefits, particularly the absence of clear digital-disconnection guidelines and the growing expectations linked to constant technological engagement. This combination may lead to overload and hinder psychological recovery, even in environments that offer some degree of flexibility. Overall, the results underscore the importance of integrating work-flexibility practices into broader organizational policies that emphasize employee well-being, establish clear norms regarding technology use, and promote leadership approaches that prioritize mental health and sustainable performance.
