Abstract

Electronic commerce has brought significant benefits to digital marketing, strengthening its strategies to achieve effective product marketing. The objective of the research has been to know how e-commerce has influenced digital marketing to promote the purchase of products in the student community of the Faculty of Business Administration and Accounting of the Regional University Center of Veraguas. The methodology used has a quantitative approach of a descriptive type with a non-experimental, cross-sectional design. 781 students, was the investigated population, of which 258 people was the extracted sample. Questions were applied through a survey supported by the Google Forms tool. It is shown through the results obtained that 55% of those surveyed have bought online, of these 45% have done so through social networks where 48% have bought clothing.
