Abstract

Emotional intelligence is the ability to recognize, understand and manage one's emotions; self-regulation, which refers to the ability to manage emotions effectively; motivation, which drives one to pursue goals with determination; empathy, which involves understanding and sharing the emotions of others; social skills, which focus on building healthy relationships.  Emotional intelligence plays a crucial role in personal and professional success, as it affects decision making, conflict resolution, effective communication and building positive relationships. Developing emotional intelligence involves cultivating skills over time, which contributes to greater emotional well-being and a fulfilling life. This research aims to know the level of emotional intelligence in students of the Faculty of Educational Sciences, CRU Coclé, through data obtained to evaluate 5 aspects of emotional intelligence.
