This is a brief review of literary criticism of a published book. Value the text "Bonsái", by Elza Etzuko, in which the author's story is succinct and poetic, who has gone through three different cultural identities (Japanese, Brazilian and Mexican), accumulating rich experience and far-reaching learning philosophical and socio-anthropological that serve as an inspiration and guide to stimulate dialogue, communication and understanding between countries, peoples and cultures, at the same time that it can contribute to strengthening the will and optimism of people in the face of adverse circumstances.
