Abstract

This text reviews the book “Compendium of History of Ecuador. Notes for Teaching (1531-1845)”, published in 2023 by the Nova Educare seal of the Latin American Center for Pedagogical Epistemology Studies (CESPE) and written by Zila Esteves, Diana Guevara, Mayra Marcillo and William Muñoz, educators and researchers ecuadorians. The book contains six chapters that present with historical-logical method, some of the most important events in Ecuador that appear in historical sources. The importance of the book is summarized in two dimensions: the first, regarding the educational perspective of the authors and the second, related to the way in which we can analyze the national historical evolution based on the information found in this publication.
