This study aimed to analyze the viability of establishing a cultural center dedicated to the safeguarding of Chorreras cumbia in the district of La Chorrera, West Panama province. A quantitative approach with a descriptive design was employed, using a structured questionnaire administered through Google Forms to 140 people (70 men and 70 women) residing in the province of West Panama. The results indicated that 41.1% of respondents prefer tile roofs, 40% LED lighting, 41.4% an artisan bakery as the main store, 34% a local history museum, and 75.7% are willing to pay 10 balboas for admission and tour. Likewise, 60% prefer the location on 28 de Noviembre Street and 35.7% consider a size of 1500 m² to be adequate. It is concluded that the project is viable and feasible, with high acceptance by the population, representing an innovative alternative for the preservation of the intangible and material cultural heritage of the region.
