The article examines how the materials used in construction projects influence the quality and success of the results obtained. While "Improving construction performance still depends on how core problems are aligned, taking a step further in global guidance with efficiency improvement strategies designed specifically for them" (Azogue, 2025, pág. 17) this study, based on a survey conducted in the Nuevo Arraiján community, reveals the residents' perceptions of material suitability, broken down by gender. Its main objective was to measure the project's efficiency, effectiveness, and impact in the context of its apparent conclusion.
