Abstract

The teaching of the English language for years has been using methodological strategies, which although effective for the proposed curricular objective, (Celse-Furcia, 2003) have not succeeded in facilitating the successful access of the graduates, limits the conversational management of the English language; that is, there is no effective communication through the English language.
The present study demonstrates that a group of professionals from different disciplines, using other innovative techniques such as: interaction at group level on topics explained through videos, slides and lectures facilitator, reinforcement of language skills through videos of dramas that include songs, dialogues, conversations in general, presentation of classes in the different disciplines in which the participants are specialists; made it possible for the students to be able to comprehend in an auditory way and to verbally express the concepts of the basic level. The order and the sequential use of new techniques and methodological strategies, effectively achieved the learning of conversational English; which is the objective of the research: to demonstrate that by incorporating new strategies and methodologies for conversational English, people can communicate effectively in this language. It is suggested to apply this methodology to the rest of the groups that study the subject.
