Medical and educational care institutions need a methodological perspective oriented to the identity of the human being (patients and students, as well as health and education professionals) as an adequate response to the uncertainty of the context and to the interferences of all kinds that characterize the most representative element of postmodernity: communication. We expose the route that led us to two basic experiences that have given origen to the Vetas-Educando® Method: the neurorehabilitation work of the AlunCo Foundation of Vicente López (Argentina) in the field of health and the work of the Laura Lanza school of Carini (Italy) in education. In both cases, we present a reflection on the path that has led us to take the transdisciplinary perspective and the reference to complexity theory to shape the two projects and the development of a specific methodological approach. The common aspects have determined the merger of the two experiences in the Vetas-Educando® Method.
