This article aims to carry out an analytical study to inform the performance of Samuel Robles’ Tian-Ho, for solo percussion. For this, the discussion is divided into three sections: The first investigates the biographical profile of Robles to determine the conditions that led him to compose for percussion. The second analyzes the musical and non-musical influences that inspired Tian-Ho's composition. Finally, the text is related to timbre and texture to understand how Robles generates thematic material on percussion instruments.
