This research aimed to know the models of social reaction against crime in the Panamanian Criminal Law. It looked for the validity of the dissuasive, resocializing, and integrating models. First, these models were studied at a theoretical level and after, they were studied through their legal sustenance: the Constitution, the Criminal Code, The Criminal Procedure Code and Executive Decree 260 of 2006. The analysis was expanded through the revision of Panamanian Jurisprudence. It concluded that in Panama there are features of the three main models of social reaction of crime, and it is the Criminal Procedure Code that implements the new integrative model.
