Abstract

This article is written as a posthumous tribute to Mrs. Ana María Crance de Cunningham, born on July 26, 1905 in La Palma, Province of Darién, Ana María was a trunk of the Crance-Cunningham family, and as every person From the interior of the republic condensed an enormous wisdom, which regularly manifested as a wise and creative person, who on many occasions after pouring some of his sayings referred: "Then they will remember me, well then ..." or this purpose and as it shows, some of the most pronounced proverbs of its authorship and the knowledge of the people are presented. On the other hand, we want to present how proverbs can serve as a teaching strategy, through their application and use in the classroom.
