Executive functions (EF) constitute a set of essential cognitive skills for behavioral self-regulation, planning, and goal attainment. In children with (ADHD), these functions are significantly compromised, affecting academic, social, and family performance. Through this narrative review, the most frequently addressed elements in EF intervention programs for children with ADHD are identified, with particular attention to the emotional dimension, the role of parents as intervention agents, and the benefits of physical exercise. Recent evidence supports the adoption of multimodal approaches integrating emotional regulation, parent training, and structured physical activity.
