The new scenario presented by the COVID-19 pandemic worldwide has accelerated the use of technology and virtuality in education. In the educational field, the incorporation of new technological tools has allowed evolving towards new teaching- learning methods, but seeing its effects reflected in the teacher as well. The main objective of this study is to analyze the experiences and perspectives of English teachers at the Language Center of the Technical University of Babahoyo (CENID) on the learning process during the pandemic. In the literature review section, the current state of the art in relation to education under pandemic conditions and e-learning in the use of English language learning is analyzed. The methodology of this article was designed under the methodological approach of the quantitative approach, due to the characteristics and needs of this research. The technique used is the survey and the instrument is a questionnaire designed with 10 questions taken to a study population of 23 CENID teachers. The results obtained from this research represent a positive contribution with the purpose of understanding the experiences and perspectives of the English teachers of the aforementioned center on the learning process during the pandemic. Currently, remote education prevails with the use of different digital platforms that allow self-education. However, this has generated positive and negative contributions from the student and teacher that lead to synchronous and asynchronous education.
