Abstract

With this research project, the Agroindustry career of the Technical University of Babahoyo, seeks to develop and promote the entrepreneurship of small cocoa farmers and entrepreneurs with the production of bonbons with amaretto-flavored liqueur, which consists of a bonbon with a liquid center filled or coated with Amaretto and chocolate powder in order to make an entrepreneurial alternative known to many people who are currently going through a critical economic situation due to the pandemic (COVID - 19), having as result the following data.

Age of the respondents, resulting in the following: under 18 years of age 14.3%, between 18 and 25 years of age 71.4%, between 26 and 35 years of age 11.9%, between 36 and 45 1.2%, over 45 years of age 1.2%.

Taste for chocolate, resulting in the following: 100% determined that they do like chocolate.

Frequency of chocolate consumption, resulting in the following: daily consumption 16.7%, weekly consumption 50%, monthly consumption 32.1%, never 1.2%.

Taste for chocolate bonbons, resulting in the following: 97.6% do like chocolate bonbons, 1.2% do not like them, 1.2% maybe.

Frequency of consumption of chocolate bonbons, resulting in the following: daily consumption 15.5%, weekly consumption 50%, monthly consumption 34.5%.

Consumption of amaretto-flavored chocolate, resulting in the following: 83.3% stated that they had consumed amaretto-flavored chocolates and 16.7% stated that they had not consumed amaretto-flavored chocolates.

Taste of our finished product, having the following: 78.3% stated that a lot, 16.9% stated that very little and 4.8% stated that nothing.

Presentation of our finished product, having the following: 86.9% stated that Quite a lot, 8.6% stated that very little and 4.5% stated that nothing.

Smell of our finished product, having the following: 83.3% stated that Quite a lot, 11.9% stated that very little and 4.8% stated that nothing.

Texture of our finished product, having the following: 86.9% stated that Quite a lot, 8.6% stated that very little and 4.5% stated that nothing.

Consumption of our amaretto-flavored chocolates, having the following: 86.9% said yes, while 13.1% said no.
