Abstract

The research on the proposal to improve the writing of the letters that certify the spelling revision of the graduation works of the 2010s that rest in the Lorenzo Victoria Library of the Regional University Center of Panama Oeste, the sample corresponding to one hundred Letters found in the ten Faculties of the Centro Regional Universitario de Panamá Oeste and are from different professors, representing a hundred professors of Spanish, all graduates of the University of Panama. It should be noted that 60% of the graduation works are reviewed by professors who work at the Centro Regional Universitario de Panamá Oeste, so that only 40% representing 794 works were reviewed by other professors, but these are repeated in a way that each of them has reviewed approximately 6 graduation papers. Among the objectives of this research are: To assess modern letter writing, present the new letter writing standards, explain how typographical and spelling errors are corrected and record the most common lack of structure and writing in which the sample incurs selected. And in addition, the importance of this means of communication is explained, which despite the technological age, has survived for many centuries, the history of this document is outlined and how it has been taught and learned to write, it is presented, also the evolution that the writing of this medium has tended in terms of its structure, style, punctuation, and emphasis is placed on the writing that is customary in Panama.
