Abstract

Labor insertion and professional development are fundamental concepts, and widely studied, that describe the process through which individuals access and develop in the labor market. Characterizing the population of interest, according to these parameters, is vital to improve said process, for which the objective was to characterize the labor insertion and professional development of the graduates of the Physiotherapy career. An observational, cross-sectional study is carried out from the application of the documentary technique and the survey in a population made up of 333 university graduates, where 180 represent the non-probabilistic sample, for convenience. The study identifies academic training, insertion and employment situation and professional development as the main variables on which the study is implemented, and whose results show the current state of labor insertion in society, and the need to work in In order for the authorities in conjunction with the education system to be more concerned with establishing better guarantees for obtaining an adequate job and salary.
