The Regional University Center of Bocas del Toro, University of Panama, implemented the andragogic techniques to improve the quality of the teaching-learning processes of the students. However, little has been investigated about its impact on the training of students, which is necessary to generate scientific information. The objective of the research is to evaluate the andragogical techniques applied to first-year students, from the Faculty of Education Sciences.
The type of research is transversal prospective, with quantitative focus and non-experimental design.
The population is 36 teachers, the intentional non-proballistic sample of 10 teachers was taken. "Data cannot be generalized in a population." Hernández Sampiere (2015).
It is concluded that 70% of respondents considered that the techniques of reading analysis, testing, workshops and projects have been proven to be effective in improving study habits and the teaching-learning process. For this reason, 100% of teachers apply the andragogic techniques to improve university quality.
