Abstract

The decade 1980 – 1990 was particularly difficult for Universidad de El Salvador (UES) due to all the military interventions and socio-political issues in the country that undoubtedly affected the dynamics and development of the university. Professors, students, administrators and all employees at UES are committed to rescuing and enhancing the position of the university in the country’s daily life, this is in science development and in the vision of it. That is why, since the analysis carried out, the objective set is to propose alternative solutions to the specific situation the university is facing nowadays.
