The author states that in Panama there exists a deep ignorance about the intellectual work of Justo Arosemena. The author declares that our thinker knew the masterpices of many ancient and contemporary authorities living in his century. His knowledge of constitutional thought was exhaustive. It allowed him to write, besides other contributions, a constitution of the Federal State of Panama. However, they are, according to the author, some notable lacks in his juridical propositions, notwithstanding the virtues that appear inmany works of himthat still last.
