In this essay I make a recount of the social mobilization of women in Panama, throughout the decades of XX century XXI century, in which groups organized by them, as they have manifested in favor of and against those joint and structural events that have allowed changes to the legal and normative framework of our Nation-State. I present some background that places women in the search for the construction of a democratic, participatory and egalitarian Panamanian society that establishes equal opportunities as the most just aspiration of humanity
