This article intends to argue from a bibliographic review the subject of emotional competences strengthened through the family-school alliance and emotional education for parents, teachers and students. A qualitative approach was used, employing as a method the content analysis through a documentary tracking of researches, bibliographic review articles and books. The topic of emotional intelligence and emotional education is based on this study; deepening in its characteristics, which constitute the basis for the development of emotional competences within the family, which in turn favors healthy affective relationships that lead children and adolescents to live in a gratifying way in the personal, family and social aspects, influencing in a decisive way the academic performance and school coexistence. The school as co-responsible for the educational process should generate spaces for the formation of parents, where the school for parents emerges as a tool to facilitate the processes and strengthen the alliance that should exist between them. The importance of this topic is emphasized as a means to achieve transformations in favor of the integral formation of children and adolescents.
