The article tittled, Lexical and sematic aspects seen through Ligia Elena song, by the Panamanian singer-songwriter Ruben Blades proposes a semantic lexical analysis, not with the purpose of recognizing structures but rather that they contribute to the understanding and interpretation of the song studied lyrics of salsa musical genre based on the language handling that the singer-songwriter Ruben Blades does as an open linguistic object what gives meaning to the speech. The objective or purpose of this study is to analyze Ligia Elena song from the lexical-semantic perspective in order to infer the meaning and the covered topics in this linguistic context.This research is qualitative - descriptive kind and It is oriented in some steps that for studies of this nature establishes the literature as a humanistic discipline. The results show us that It is not an atomized analysis, but rather the meaning acquired by both the structures and the words in the message It wants to communicate.
