The study presented, on this occasion, deals with the intensification in stories of a colloquial conversation, that is, an approach to the linguistic phenomena of a pragmatic nature that determine this textual typology. The objective pursued is to characterize the linguistic forms of colloquial language that the interactants use to intensify the story in the prototypical Panamanian colloquial conversation. The theoretical bases that support this research are provided by Meyer-Hermann (1988), Antonio Briz (1998, 2017), Marta Albelda (2004, 2018). The methodology used is qualitative-descriptive and the transcription system of the Val.Es.Co group is used. The results obtained unravel and bring closer to the varied and diverse Panamanian ways of intensifying the colloquial story.
