The research aims to study the trends and particularities of the economic growth of Panama from the perspective of its impact on the results of the management of professional and university organizations in the country, from the perspective of the Theory of Complex Organizations. The methods and techniques used are represented by the different ways of obtaining the information necessary to analyze and develop it, which consist of surveys and interviews applied to regular students and teachers exclusively, both research subjects are part of the Faculty of Economics, in addition to review theses, books, articles, press and various publications, in order to expand knowledge of the topic investigated.
The economic and social growth of the country, in prospective terms, is not consistent with other data previously obtained, such as the correlation between the number of students enrolled in the country's public universities, on the one hand, and, on the other, the productivity of these universities (the relationship between the number of enrolled and the number of graduates), which leads to considering the characteristics of the management of public universities within a chaotic socio-economic context focused from the perspective of the complexity paradigm.
The decrease in economic growth negatively affects the university population due to lack of income, both in the number of enrolled and graduates, of the degree in economics and the weakening of professional organizations due to the deficit of new Economists who enter the College of Economists. from Panama.
