This research was conducted with the objective of determining the thermal requirements and the effect of seven temperatures (18 oC and 32 oC) in the duration of the development cycle (egg-adult) of two strains of Trichogramma pretiosum, reared
on Anticarsia gemmatalis eggs. The values for lower thermal limits (Tb) and thermal constant (K) were 12.10 0C and 133.01 DD for the L.Pr. strain and 11.70 °C and 123.12 DD for the L.Pi. strain, of T. pretiosum. The strains of T. pretiosum assessed presented similar thermal requirements, independently from the registered abiotic conditions in the agricultural ecosystems, where they were collected.
