Abstract

This investigation was carried out with the purpose to determine the usage of Hydrocotyleumbellatain the absorption of contaminative elements in waste waters from the treatment’s plant, between May 21 and August 15, 2018. A total of 30 plants were collected, 15 in their natural state were taken to the soil laboratory for total foliar plant analysis, to determine values of potassium, phosphorous, calcium, iron and zinc. The other 15 plants, were placed for 30 days in three tubs in the processing plan at residential La Hacienda, located in the village of Vista Alegre, district of Arraijan, province of Panama Oeste, Republic of Panama. After the elapsed time, plants were withdrawingand carried to the laboratory were foliar analysis were done, and the degree of absorption of the elements was determined. We conclude that the plant has the capacity absorbs the elements (potassium, phosphorous, calcium, iron and zinc) of waste waters from the treatment’s plant.
